Mutema Molongwe is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of nursing experience across medical-surgical and psychiatric care settings. She is committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment.

She works with adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other complex mental health concerns. Her services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Mutema’s approach is collaborative, holistic, and person-centered. She takes time to understand each client’s experiences, goals, and concerns, creating a safe and supportive space where meaningful progress can happen. Her goal is to help clients build stability, confidence, and sustainable strategies for long-term mental wellness.

Mutema Molongwe, earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Cleveland State University.

She has worked extensively with individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions, including schizoaffective disorder, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Her clinical experience includes both inpatient psychiatric care and community-based treatment through the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) model, where she supports individuals with severe mental illness in real-world settings.

Her expertise includes psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and ongoing medication management. She is highly skilled in managing complex medication regimens, including mood stabilizers and antipsychotics, while ensuring safe and effective treatment through appropriate lab monitoring and follow-up care.
